This blog is for individuals to laugh, cry, or scream. After all, one cannot live in this world alone, so get involved with ChamberWhite. If all the people in your life do not know who you really are, or they do not show interest in what you do, then this is your aperture. I learned that some subjective views must be shared. Here, I share my thoughts, answers, and opinions on any topic there is no holding back.
Why ChamberWhite is here: My family and some friends in my life have no interest in reading my writing. Whenever I would ask for their undivided attention just to listen and give feedback, it seemed as though they were exasperated by my question. So I simply stop asking. They do not know how much I write and how much I enjoy writing. Nevertheless, I started this blog to share what I have learned about myself, support one's ambitions, encourage others to dream, and how to achieve goals. Feel free to share your wonderful prose with ChamberWhite. I would like to hear from you. I talk about every issue that exist on this earth. Everything is worth talking about.
Presently, I am working on a piece that I started years ago and short-short stories and poetry. I am having a hard time because my mood is different than it was when I first started the piece, so now I am trying to evoke my idiosyncratic and spontaneous mind of the past.
Me and you are the exact opposite. I rather not share anything with some of my family. The reason I feel so strongly is due to foolish thinking. I have learned that you cannot always express your dreams or goals to just anyone. I believe that when you confide in certain individuals about your goals, it often provokes jealously because they have failed to reach their own personal goals.
ReplyDeleteI too, love to write and read. I hope to start writing my first book this year. It is my desire to become a book author.
Communication does not just consists of listening and speaking but respecting the thoughts or ideas of others, that you may not agree with.
Thank you, TamaraTowers for creating an atmosphere for listening, speaking, and respect:-)!
Hello LiveLoveandLetGod,
DeleteThe old cliché says, 'opposite attract.' Our mental state is balanced. You are right about sharing one's dream can provoke jealousy in others. I am experiencing the 'indirect jealousy' syndrome from people who I thought supported me. I started noticing their enviousness in my last year of undergrad. It seemed to me that they wanted me to fail. In my college years, my support came from one of my friends and my son. They actually took care of me financially. I can count the time my so called friends and family came to spend time or sent me anything on one hand using three fingers. At any rate, their actions towards me simply made me succeed.
That is why I started this blog. I know there are many people in this world who are or had experienced the enviousness syndrome from people they love. This is an avenue for folks to express their intention or talk about their goals.
My opinion is to limit one's time around negative thinking people and maximize the time with a community of goal setters. There are large environments of goal setter who are not shy about sharing their stories.
Thanks for your response,
TamaraTowers
